Blueberry 'Gulf Coast' (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Gulf Coast') is a southern high-bush blueberry with a very low chill requirement, making it one of the best choices for South and Central Florida. It produces medium-sized, mild, sweet berries and is highly adaptable to Florida's warm climate. Available in a #1 container. Full sun to partial shade. Moderate water; keep soil consistently moist. Acidic (pH 4.5-5.5), well-draining, organic-rich soil. Plant with another low-chill variety for cross-pollination. Mulch with pine bark or pine straw.
