Blueberry 'Darrow' (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Darrow') is a high-bush blueberry variety producing large, firm, flavorful berries with excellent shelf life. This Florida-adapted selection performs well in the state's acidic soils. Available in a #3 container. Full sun to partial shade. Moderate to high water; keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Acidic (pH 4.5-5.5), well-draining, organic-rich soil. Plant two or more varieties for best pollination and yield. Mulch heavily with pine bark or pine straw to maintain soil acidity. Prune after harvest to encourage new growth.
