Introduction

For the safety of the butterflies and to help protect the conservatory environment, guests should not bring outside plants, flowers, or cuttings into the Butterfly Encounter unless staff has approved them in advance. This helps keep the habitat healthy and reduces the risk of introducing pests, disease, or unwanted contaminants.

What is allowed

In most cases, the Butterfly Encounter is designed for guests to enjoy the plants already growing inside the exhibit. If you have a special educational request, group activity, or event idea, contact the nursery ahead of time to confirm what may be permitted.

• Cuttings, bouquets, and potted plants should stay outside the conservatory unless staff says otherwise.
